I'm Naini Diwan,an aspiring researcher whose interests lie in Applications of Quantum Physics, Machine Learning, and Astrophysics. I'm always on the lookout for opportunities of wielding my coursework knowledge. I got to contribute to Scilab (an open source software) as part of the FOSSEE Project, and the work ended up being recognized with the National Award. Some of my earliest Scilab work is up here, nothing groundbreaking, but you're welcome to take a look.

Much of who I am, I credit to sports — which is why I care deeply about ensuring that people who are deprived of it, especially girls, get equal access to both sports and education. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and languages. There is a version of the world visible only through another tongue, and I intend to find as many of those versions as I can. I carve out time for poetry and sketching whenever I can, and lately, I've been trying out watercolours.
